Hello Dawn

Check out this short film made by two of our young filmmakers, Martin Ward and Beth Horncastle who made the film, along with Dawn Debenham. They made it in one day, which is pretty impressive. They describe the film as "dawn getting terrified because she is being stalked by richard, a dawn fanatic who greets her with the words "hello dawn". A good use of close-ups and some imaginative shots keeps the film interesting, and a little creepy!

In my teens I made a short film called 'Wednesday's Child' in a park using the play area - it was basically a bit of fun with a camera - what narrative there was was inspired by a punk track by the Undertones. This really reminded me of experimenting and making the story up as you go along - I'm guessing you did this! What I liked is you just went and did it and put it out there and it shows a good way to make a short is to work with what you have or have access to. Also, how important it is where you set your story - as it changes the sense for the audience of what they are watching. I'd love to see the film with a soundtrack. Nice one. Peter Kershaw

hiya, thanks for putting our film up, we love it XD. However, i just have to correct this because it was Martin Ward and BETN HORNCASTLE who made the film, as well as Dawn Debenham so if you could change that please, that would be great
